The inaugural Marilyn Jetty Swim was held as part of the 2014 Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic. Since then, it has become a crowd favorite with thousands cheering them on from the Jetty and shoreline.
2024 saw the biggest group of Marilyns to date, with over 650 Swimming and Shore Marilyns adding to the spectacle. In 2024 they surpassed $1,300,000 raised to help support South Australians impacted by cancer and the Cancer Council.
