The 2010 Brighton Jetty Classic has finished. A fantastic race, congratulations to James Fennell for his 3rd consecutive victory and Kallie Rump, the 2009 Open mens and Open Womens Champions.

Whats happening in 2011!

Win! a lunch date at the 7 Brighton Jetty Classic with the Home & Away Stars!

All who register for the swim before the 6th January in either the Jetty 400 or 1500 will go into the draw to win lunch with the Home & Away Stars.

 

 
2010/11 Be Active Open Water Swimming Program

Whether is it raining, hailing or shining participants between 10 and 70 years are encouraged to join in and learn the skills so you can swim in the open water events (400m or 1500m) at the Brighton Jetty Classic. There is only one pre-requiste and that is you know how to swim.

These sessions commence on the first Saturday in November 2010 and will be held every Saturday leading up to the Brighton Jetty Classic Event on Sunday 6th February, 2010.They start on the beach at 2.45pm and finish at 3.45pm.

Registration commence from 2.15 pm and closes at 2.45pm every Saturday upstairs in the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club

We recommend that you come prepared with your bathers on, sunscreen on, hat on, hydrated with plenty of water to drink and bring with you any other necessities that you require.

If you like, you are welcome to participate in the 4 o'clock swim event that is coordinated by the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club. However, you will need to complete a come n' try form when you register. Every participant is entitled to 2 free club swims: After this if you would like to continue with the club swims at 4pm you will need to become a registered club member.
